4. ALUMNI

Keep us updated! We are all very attached to our fosters, and love to see them grow. Please keep us updated with pictures and check-ins via email, text, or join our Alumni Facebook Group - it's a small group as we build our organization!

5. VET

Please make a vet appointment with the first 7-10 days of ownership. Be sure to bring all of the dog’s paperwork that we provided. If the vet flags anythings, communicate back with us. All dogs adopted a clean bill of health upon departure of Alabama, so all should be clear.

As a friendly reminder, all our Favor dogs get 1-2 rounds of dewormer and are not allowed to travel until they have clean fecal sample. Occasionally, there are residual eggs that would normally rid themselves, but with the stress of transport and a new environment, a positive fecal may present 7-10 days after transport. In that case, your vet will prescribe another round of dewormer and your pup should be all set!

6. REHOMING

If for any reason you need to re-home, the puppy MUST come back to us. It’s our policy that we need to be part of the process of re-homing her, even if it is going to a family member.

Congrats on your new addition! Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you for ADOPTING instead of shopping for your dog!
